About Noqu-I-Sema

My Links. My Roots. My People.

Our Story

Every Fijian carries a web of connections: to a Koro, a Tikina, a Yasana, to grandparents and cousins scattered across the islands and around the world. Traditionally, that web was held together by memory, by village elders, and by the stories passed down at family gatherings. But as families spread further from home, those threads can quietly start to fray.

Noqu-I-Sema, meaning "My Links," was built to keep those threads strong. It is a home for Fijian family trees, village communities, events and fundraising, designed so that no matter where in the world you are, you can trace your roots, find your relatives, and stay connected to your Koro.

Today, Noqu-I-Sema covers all 14 Yasana and over a thousand villages across Fiji, and continues to grow as more families add their own branches to the tree.
